Outgoing President of the Republic, Ilir Meta has underlined Sunday that it has been an extraordinary honor and privilege for him to have served as Albania's Head of State during the last five years. 

On a social media statement, President Meta wished the best for Albania, as well as peace and prosperity for every Albanian family. 

"It was an extraordinary honor and privilege to serve these five years as President of the Republic of Albania. 

I wish the best for our homeland and nation! Peace and prosperity for every Albanian family!
