Over 100 kg of cocaine were seized on Thursday evening in Tirana police confirmed. The drugs was found inside a container with bananas which for three days stayed at Durresi Harbor after arrived by Ecuador. 

The drugs was seized at 'Ura e Beshirit' area in Peze Helmes and police arrested two persons so far. 

Albaniandailynews.com learned that the Albanian authorities collaborated with foreign agencies in order to seize the huge amount of drugs. Further details are expected to be made public on the days to come.
