After 24 hours in jail, democrat Member of Parliament, Ervin Salianji said that he is full of energy and will came out victorious.

He was transferred at Fieri prison and thanked everyone who supported him during this period.

"I want to assure you that I have all the energy to come out victorious and join you in the fight against the evil that has gripped this country for 11 years! Thank you from the bottom of my heart", writes Salianji in a post on the social media.

The deputy arrived at Fier prison around 20:00 last Friday after he decided to surrender himself to the Directorate of Tirana.

He will serve a 1-year sentence for the charge of false reporting, after two days ago the Court of Appeal of Tirana upheld the 2019 decision of the Court of First Instance.
