A 3-year-old girl who fought COVID-19 for more than two weeks has died this Wednesday at the Children Hospital in Tirana. The small girl from Berat, Amaris Polovina, was hospitalized just two days ago in Tirana where she was immediately put on ventilator due to his grave health condition.

But unfortunately she died just 48 hours later and could not survived Covid-19 complications.

This is the second child that died of Covid-19 in Albania in less than a month, although doctors said that the new Delta virus does not cause much trouble to minors.

So far it is not clear yet if the small girl had other underlying health condition.
