38,400 doses of COVAX Arrived in Kosovo on Wednesday

Kosovo has been supplied with 38 thousand 400 doses of COVID-19 vaccine by COVAX, this Wednesday.

The announcement came from the UNICEF program in our neighbouring country, which informed about the arrival and the amount.

"Today, we have taken another important step towards the equal distribution of vaccines! An additional 38,400 doses of COVID19 vaccine just arrived in Kosovo through COVAX.”

The distribution will be in accordance with the National Vaccination Plan of the Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo.

“Since the arrival of the first 24,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine in March 2021, the Ministry of Health has implemented the National Vaccination Plan, where health workers and the elderly have been given priority as the first groups to be vaccinated."

We recall that Kosovo at the end of March was supplied with 24 thousand doses of vaccine by COVAX. These vaccines are a donation to the country.
