4.0 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Korca

A magnitude 4.0 earthquake shook the southeast of Albania last night. According to data from the European Mediterranean Earthquake Center, the tremors were felt around 22:21. 

The epicenter was reported about 8 km east of Korca, at a depth of 2 km. The oscillations lasted for a few seconds causing panic to people nearby. 

Not long ago Albania was hit by a devastating earthquake. 51 people died on November 26, 2019, following a 6.4 magnitude earthquake that hit Albania. More than a thousand were injured while thousand others were left homeless.
