Albanian Football Association (FSHF) announced this Thursday that all football activities will be suspended in the country until a second announcement.

FSHF stated that the decision was made after it has attentively followed the coronavirus situation in Albania, meanwhile it announced also that regarding the international activities of Albanian National Team there will be a video-conference held by UEFA on Tuesday, at 13:00, with all 55 member federations in order to decide on all European football activities.

“The Executive Committee of the Football Federation has followed closely and with priority the progress of the situation in our country, following the cases of COVID-19 reported in Albania.

Given the escalation of this situation and feeling the utmost responsibility for all persons involved in football life in the country and following the proposal of the Emergency Committee of the FSHF, the Executive Committee decided to suspend all football activities.

This decision shall enter into force immediately until further communication by the Football Federation,” declared FSHF.
