A 45-year-old man is suspected of drowning in the Prespa Lake. The incident happened in the early hours of this Sunday morning.

Official sources from the police informed that the citizen Stavri Vasilovski, 45 years old, who had gone out in the evening to fish, as a result of the strong waves of the lake, his boat capsized and it is suspected that he may have drowned.

As reported, at the moment the boat capsized, there were 3 people who went fishing (the person suspected of drowning, his brother and another).

The two others swam and managed to escape while Vasilovski is suspected of being caught down by the boat.

The announcement has been made and the arrival of the divers is expected to carry out the necessary searches. The Border Police Services and the investigation team are at the scene where they are working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
