A worker in a mine in Bulqiza is suspected to have been trapped this Wednesday noon after the collapse of the mineral mass.

Police say the rescue team is working to clear the gallery to come to the aid of a worker suspected of being trapped inside.

Meanwhile, the investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify its circumstances.

"On 15.09.2021, around 12.10, in a mining entity in Bulqiza, there was a fall of a mineral mass and from the preliminary information of the workers, it is suspected that a worker was trapped in the gallery.

The mine accident rescue team is working to clear the gallery and come to the aid of the worker who is suspected to have remained inside.

The investigative group continues the inspections at the scene to find out the causes of the event", the police announce.
