The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime has imposed the security measure "Prison arrest" for two police officers who, after arresting a citizen sentenced to 10 years and 6 months in prison, have released him again after receiving an amount of 10 thousand euros. 

The two police officers of the Special Operational Sector at the Local Police Directorate of Durrës, Gëzim Lluka and Viktor Buca, after being informed of the location of the wanted person, located him and caught him, taking him in the vehicle with whom they moved. After negotiating with the wanted person, the citizen Alfred Mikeli, the police officers released him, in exchange for receiving from him a sum of 10 thousand Euros. 

The two police officers are already facing charges of "Active corruption of persons exercising public functions", which they must face in court.
