A 36-year-old man that was declared internationally wanted for the criminal offense "Coercion through intimidation or violence for giving property" has been extradited this Sunday from Italy.

The authorities revealed that the law-breaker Behar Aliaj, 36 years old, resident in Fier was located, apprehended and arrested in Italy, thanks to the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with Interpol Rome / Italy, for the localization and apprehension of persons declared internationally wanted.

Nevertheless, this citizen was declared wanted, after the Court of First Instance for Serious Crimes in Tirana, with the decision dated 24.05.2018 sentenced him to prison on the coercion through intimidation charge.

On 24.03.2017, in the place called “Sheq i Madh”, Fier, the citizen BA is suspected of having coerced through intimidation or violence, the citizen EB, threatening to kill him, if he did not give him within two months, the amount of EUR 10.000.
