Altin Marku, the perpetrator of the assassination attempt of the head of the Kallmet Administrative Unit in Lezha, Besnik Simoni, was arrested a few hours later by the police. 

Sources inform Albaniandailynews.com that he was caught in an apartment in the village of Kallmet. After an argument in the office, Simoni was wounded with a firearm in the street. As reported, he received 3 bullets in the body and as a result was sent urgently to Tirana.
