Prime Minister Edi Rama has dismissed the Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi.

The news was made known by the Prime Minister Edi Rama himself through an announcement on Twitter.

Rama has also announced that he will request the appointment of the current head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, to this position.

"On Monday, I will officially submit the following proposals to the President of the Republic! I thank Minister Bledi Çuçi for his always correct work in this task and I wish that the new Minister of Internal Affairs, Taulant Balla, will continue our steadfast state-building effort in this direction as well", wrote Rama.

These movements come after the events of the last few days, where the people of the Rraja tribe raped two people of the Maya tribe in Fushë-Kruje, after denunciations about the quarry that is owned by them.
