CEC in Kosovo: Votes for Kurti Will Be Declared Invalid
The CEC (Central Election Commission) of Kosovo has confirmed that the votes for the uncertified candidates who will participate in the February 14 elections will be declared invalid.
This also applies to Albin Kurti, the candidate for prime minister from Vetëvendosje (Self-determination Movement) who leads the list, but who does not have the right to run in the elections, due to a sentence in the last 3 years. He is banned from running, but his party seems to be in the lead according to the polls.
Vetëvendosje, which will be presented in the elections with the list headed by Kurti, risks losing all the votes that go to its party leader.
