Ceremony Held for Martyr of Fatherland, Anri Kashiku

A ceremony was held this Thursday at the Prime Minister's Office in honor of the sacrifice of the "Martyr of the Fatherland", Anri Kashiku, and for his family members, who were given the special signs of remembrance and gratitude of the nation: the symbol of the "Family of the Martyr of the Fatherland".

During his speech, Prime Minister Edi Rama said that heroes are not fallen from the sky, but are extraordinary with the heroic actions they do in certain situations.

"The government has pledged to protect the children of the Martyrs. In this case Henry himself was a child, and like other heroes of these days he became a symbol of heroism. If Anri had not sacrificed his life, two lives would have been lost. This reminds us that martyrs are not fallen from heaven, but are extraordinary and do extraordinary things at certain times. With emotion, I would like to hand over this decoration to Anri's father," said Rama.

Meanwhile, Anri's father, with a trembling voice, said that the pain is great, while he wished that what happened to him would not happen to any parent.

"What happened to me, I don't want it to happen to anyone in the world. It is a pain that has no words. I thank you, Mr. Prime Minister, that Anri's name is not forgotten in all the families of the Albanian nation. I wish that what happened to me does not happen to anyone," Anri's father said.

Anri Kashiku some days ago saved from drowning his brother and the friend of his brother, but fortunately he lost his life.
