New National Council of the Democratic Party (DP) will be a bridge of cooperation with the society to build a “Civic Platform for Democracy”, declared Sunday Chairman Lulzim Basha as he marked that the Council has opened its doors to more young men and women.

In his statement, Basha wished much success to the elected National Council and expressed gratitude for the “delegates” that represented the Democrats throughout Albania.

“You have the trust of democrats and democrats and the responsibility to fight every day near the citizens, for the small and big worries of Albanian families, to overcome the difficulties together and to be their voice in the face of any injustice.

The challenges we have ahead are big, but so is our will and determination.

The new Council, open to more ladies and gentlemen, more young men and women, will be a bridge of cooperation with society, to build together a Civic Platform for Democracy, because we are the only hope for Albanians that require change”, said the DP Chair among other things.
