Police have been able to identify the driver of the vehicle type "Opel", who four days ago accidentally killed a 56-year-old in the neighbourhood "Kombinat" of Berat. 

He is the citizen with the initials A.L., 33 years old, resident in Durrës. The materials in his charge were forwarded to the Berat prosecutor's office for further action.

Crashes a citizen causing his death, the driver of the vehicle is identified, apprehended and detained. 

The specialists of the Sector for Road Traffic stopped the citizen A.L., 33 years old, resident in Durrës, after on 19.10.2021, in the place called “Çentër Shqiptare”, Kombinat, driving the vehicle type “Opel”, hit the citizen A.A. , who lost his life, and then fled the scene. 

The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Berat, for the criminal offenses "Irregular driving" and "Leaving the scene of the accident".
