Dangerous Albanian Jewl Thieves Apprehended in Italy
An Italian and three Albanians have fallen into the hands of the Italian police, after being accused of committing the robbery of two jewelry stores.
The events occurred one on June 16 and the other on August 22, 2020, while the latter was located inside a shopping mall.
Neighboring media write that the arrested Albanians are Klejdo Islamaj, 27 years old, Arber Budani, and Gentian Silaj, both 24, all three residents in Guiglia, while the Italian Massimiliano Livera, was a 23-year-old resident in Brindisi.
The first roberry occurred in this way: "Respecting the anti-COVID measures" the group of thieves had entered the store with masks on their faces. They then threatened the sellers with sticks to give them jewelry worth EUR 65,000.
The other robbery, which occurred inside the shopping mall, had been violent. The four members of the group had entered with their faces covered and immediately began to break the windows where the valuables were kept. They managed to rob jewelry worth EUR 80.000.
