A second victim was confirmed following the grave accident that occurred this Thursday evening in Tirana, police confirmed.

The second victim is another woman, who was a passenger in the Audi vehicle that fell from the overpass clashing with another vehicle on the move. Police confirmed that she couldn't survive the injuries, despite being transported to hospital immediately after the accident. 

"On 09.03.2023, around 18:05, the citizen Q. K., driving the vehicle, on the eastern ring road, it is suspected that while going to the roundabout near the capital, lost control of the vehicle and it fell from the overpass, hitting another vehicle. 

As a result, two female citizens lost their lives, and citizens Q K., O. K., and K. R., who are under the care of doctors, were sent to the hospital for medical assistance. 

The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident", informed the Police.
