The Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime has rejected the Democratic Party MP, Grida Duma's lawsuit against Tirana Mayor, Erion Veliaj for defamation. The SPAK requested the dismissal of the case. 

According to the prosecutor Behar Dibra, Mayor Veliaj has not violated the law and has not consumed the elements of the criminal offense of defamation. 

The court has withdrawn for the decision which is expected to be made public on December 13 at 15.30.
