Democratic Party (DP) Headship has unanimously voted Sunday four candidates for the race for the new leader of the party. Officially for the head of Blue Headquarters run Lulzim Basha, Fatbardh Kadilli, Edit Harxhi and Agron Shehaj.

The meeting was held without the presence of the actual leader Basha. He refused to be part of this meeting due to conflict of interest.

Despite his absence, Basha has authorized the two Vice-Chairmen, among whom Edi Paloka and the Secretary General, Secretary-General of the Democratic Party (DP), Gazmend Bardhi to preside over the meeting.

This meeting had on the agenda the review and then the approval of the candidates for chairman of the Democratic Party. There were nine candidates for DP chairman in total.
