DP Denounces Misuse of Earthquake Funds

When two years have passed since the earthquake of November 26, 2019, the residents affected by that natural disaster continue to express dissatisfaction with the reconstruction process and the management of funds for the earthquake.

Democratic Party Deputy Leader Grida Duma was in the No. 1 neighborhood in Rrogozhina to a family damaged by the November 26 earthquake, which speaks of ridiculous rewards.

"They gave us ALL 80.000, we got some paint and some things so this is all we have, the cupboards are there." Citizens talk about abuses with earthquake funds after the April 25 parliamentary elections.

According to the deputy chairman of the Democratic Party, the scheme of abuse of funds was announced and continues to be denounced by the blue headquarters. "We have said that citizens are being lied to with large sums of money, and then they will not give anything.

As the government prepares to distribute apartments and flats to citizens who lost their homes, Democrats continue to call the management of that natural disaster through civic evidence a failure.
