DP Founding Father’s Son into Custody on Drugs Charges

Little of one of the founders of the Democratic Party (DP) of Albania has been detained Friday evening as cannabis was found on the vehicle in which he was travelling along with his friend and a teenage girl, the police notified.

Elbasan Police, during a check on the "Audi" vehicle that was driven by the 23-year-old H.Gj, where Azem Hajdari together with a 19-year-old girl from Lushnja were passengers foudn and seized 5 doses of weed, as confirmed.

However, Azem Hajdari junior is the brother of the Opposition MP, Rudina Hajdari and son of judge Fatmira Hajdari, who was dismissed from duty due to the fact that she was found in possession of illegal assets amounting to USD 948.000

“Police services in the framework of controls to increase safety parameters, on the road axis Elbasan-Metallurgy, have stopped for control the vehicle type 'Audi', driven by the citizen H.Gj., 23 years old, resident in Tirana.

During the control of the vehicle, 5 doses of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa were found and seized as material evidence.

The driver of the vehicle together with the passengers A.H., 23 years old, resident in Tirana and S.M., 19 years old, resident in Lushnje, were escorted to the Elbasan Police Commissariat for further procedural actions”, pronounced the police.
