The police forces of Durrës have arrested three citizens this Sunday morning for illegal possession of weapons. Two firearms were seized during the process.

“Services of the Durrës Police Commissariat in cooperation with the structures of the Local Police Directorate of Durrës, following the work to increase security parameters in the city, mainly in the beach area, based on information provided on the operational road by the investigative structures of the Commissariat of Durrës Police, have stopped for control a vehicle type "Benz", in neighbourhood no. 13, Beach, Durrës.

During the control, the Police services found and seized as material evidence 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 rifle and ammunition.

Following the actions, the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Durrës Police Commissariat, arrested in flagrante delicto the citizens E. Xh., 32 years old, E. D., 26 years old and I. D., 48 years old.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of the Durrës Judicial District for the criminal offense "Illegal possession of weapons",” the police inform.
