Durrës police have arrested 8 citizens in flagrante delicto and have declared 2 other citizens wanted, after being accused of various criminal offenses.

According to the Blues of Durrës, during the action, two cases of distribution of narcotics and 2 cases of organizing illegal lotteries were cracked down.

“The services of the Beach Police Station, following the work to identify and crack down on illegality, have found in the neighbourhood no. 13, Durres, a case of criminal activity of distributing narcotics.

Specialists for Narcotics Investigation in Durrës arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses "Failure to report a crime" and "Production and sale of narcotics", the citizen A.S., 31 years old, resident in Durrës, previously convicted for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics”, as well as the citizen E.A., 35 years old, resident in Durrës, for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics”.

The arrest of these citizens was made after, during the control in the apartment of the citizen A. S., which was rented by the citizen E. A., the Police services found and seized 700 grams of cannabis sativa.

Following the actions, the citizen Y. Ç., 39 years old, resident in Durrës, was arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense "Adaptation of the premises for drug use", after he had adapted his restaurant located below this apartment, for the distribution of the case narcotics in small doses.

Also, the specialists for Narcotics Investigation in Durrës arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses "Disobedience to the order of the police officer" and "Irregular driving", citizen K.R., 26 years old and for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics”, citizen E.V., 30 years old, both residents of Durrës.

These citizens were ascertained by the services of the Operational Force of Durrës, in the village of Rinia, Durrës, traveling on a motorcycle. These citizens did not obey the order of the Police to stop.

After their detention, it turned out that the citizen K. R. was driving the motor vehicle without a driving license, while the citizen E. V., during the physical control, was found with a quantity of narcotic substance cannabis sativa.

E.H., 23 years old, and made the announcement in search of the citizen A.B., 31 years old, resident in Durrës, after exercising the activity of illegal lotteries through sports betting through mobile devices, in the premises of the bar owned by the citizen A.B., in the neighbourhood no.1 Durrës.

K. N., 23 years old, and the wanted citizen G. N., 49 years old, both residents of Durrës, were declared wanted, after during the control in the restaurant owned by them, in neighbourhood no.8. Durrës, were found organizing illegal lotteries.

Traffic specialists in Durrës arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen A. B., 47 years old, resident in Kavaja, after he was found driving a vehicle type "Volkswagen", drunk.

The materials were forwarded to the Durrës Judicial District Prosecutor's Office for further actions," the police inform.
