Court of Lezha sentenced former policeman Jeton Lami, who was handcuffed in August last year, to 2 years and 10 months in prison. 

Lami was found guilty of the criminal offense of "abuse of duty", as he is the policeman who was seen in the company of Ervis Martinaj before the latter was reported missing. 

Former officer of the Operational Police, Jeton Lami, was discovered by the security cameras while driving an "Audi A8" car, Ervis Martinaj, even though the latter was wanted by the police for several criminal offenses. 

Lami was last seen with Ervis Martinaj in a hotel in Durrës where he left the much-wanted justice and then picked him up after a few hours
