Durrës police have arrested the drivers of two vehicles, after the serious accident that occurred on Wednesday, resulting in the death of a 60-year-old woman.

The driver of the vehicle type "Lancia", 60-year-old M. K., was handcuffed, who was moving in the opposite direction to the movement of vehicles, when she collided with the truck driven by the citizen Sh. P.

The citizen Sh.Ç., 60 years old, who was a passenger in the vehicle type "Lancia", lost her life due to the strong collision between the vehicles.

“Traffic specialists at the Local Police Directorate of Durrës arrested in flagrante delicto the citizens: M. K., 60 years old, resident in Durrës, and the citizen Sh. P., 45 years old, resident in Kruja. On the Durrës-Sukth highway, the citizen M. K., driving a vehicle type "Lancia" in the opposite direction to the movement of vehicles, collided with a truck driven by the citizen Sh. P., and consequently the passenger in the vehicle type "Lancia", the citizen Sh. Ç., 60 years old, lost her life,” it is written in the police report.

The blue uniforms have made another arrest this morning: A. H., 40 years old, resident in Preza, Tirana, after driving a vehicle type "Audi", in a drunken state, on the road axis Kruja - Fushë Krujë, collided with another vehicle, causing material damage.

The materials were forwarded to the Durrës Judicial District Prosecutor's Office for further action.
