Fier Businessman’s Execution, New Details Unveiled
Dozens of “Eagles” police officers, accompanied by Serious Crimes officers of the Fier directorate, have searched about 80 apartments in the city of Fier, where it is believed that the persons who executed the businessman Demir Backa with firearms had rented the premises they had been staying in.
Such a control was carried out exactly in the place called "15 floors" in Fier, an area which is controlled by Arben Isufi, a character with criminal records and potentially very influential in this city. Investigations are already being led by the Fier prosecutor, Hysen Ajasllari, who has left a series of tasks to the Fier Police Serious Crimes officers.
One of the many tasks is to control many apartments and some garages, where it is believed and there are suspicions that members of the killer cell were hiding, before committing the crime. A large number of city camera footage have been seized with the sole purpose of creating a driving itinerary.
Meanwhile, the police suspect that the vehicle and the perpetrators stayed in Fier, taking refuge a few days before the crime was committed in one of the areas of this city. Their stay in Fier is related to the fact of gathering information about the victim and the place where he would be shot.
For the police and the prosecution of Fier, the shooters did not have a personal conflict with the victim, but they participated in this murder as perpetrators paid by other persons. To solve this crime, the Fier police is cooperating with the Vlora police and the Central Police in Tirana, to create an expansion of investigative forces in order to identify the perpetrators of this crime.
Up to this stage where the case is, it is suspected by the police that Arben Isufi is believed to be behind this assassination. Numerous suspicions have been raised since about 1 year and a half ago, the victim Demir Backa was beaten in his bar "Piazza" in Fier Isufi together with his son.
This quarrel, which was initially born between the children, has intensified to such an extent between the elders of the two families, that it is now highly suspected that it has become the cause of the murder of the businessman Demir Backa.
