Former MP Responds to Bardhi's Accusations

Former MP Myslim Murrizi has reacted with harsh criticism against democrat MP, Gazment Bardhi, after the latter accused him of joining Prime Minister Edi Rama to disrupt June 5 Agreement on Electoral reform.

Murrizi has stated that he has not voted on any government law, except those that he says he has considered important. Murrizi further calls Bardhi an ordinary swindler, who according to him represents a handful of scum in politics and in the Democratic Party.

"I only voted for justice reform laws and ratification of international agreements and vaccine purchases. I did not vote for your dirty agreement of June 5 or the electoral code of Gjiknuri after the Constitutional changes. I voted for the Constitutional changes for OPEN LISTS AND NATIONAL THRESHOLD 1% and I would vote for them again if I were an MP, because I am against the appointment of MPs by the chairman and secretary like your," declared Murrizi.

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha defended this Friday Rudina Hajdari and Myslym Murrizi for their choice not to relinquish their mandates in 2019 when Lulzim Basha decided to leave parliament together with opposition MPs. However, Gazment Bardhi reacted after Berisha's statement, assailing Hajdari and Murrizi for joining votes with PM Rama.
