Four Korça Drug Traffickers Caught with Nearly 100 Kg Cannabis

Four young men from Korça county have been handcuffed by Korça police this Friday as part of the "Restart" operation: Klaudio Sino; Bardhi Sino (brothers); Blerim Karameta and Igli Cangëtari.

According to the police, 72 kilograms of cannabis were seized, amounting to a total of 16 arrested and 445, 5 kilograms of cannabis neutralized during this operation.

Furthermore, during the search of the Klaudio Sino's apartment, another 3 kg of cannabis and a quantity of ammunition were found and seized. From further investigative actions, it resulted that accomplices in this criminal activity are also citizens B. S; B. K. and I. C..

In the meantime, investigations are underway to fully document the event in cooperation with the Prosecution, the police announced.

"Specialists of the Section for Investigation of Illegal Trafficking and Narcotics in the Local Police Directorate of Korça, in cooperation with the Police Commissariats of Korça and Devoll, the Police Supervision Agency and the Special Forces "Shqiponjat", under the direction of the District Prosecutor's Office, Judicial District Following the police operation "Restart", launched five months ago, have successfully finalized its sixth phase, as a result of which the citizens were caught and arrested in flagrante delicto:

- K. S., 35 years old, resident in Miras village, Devoll.

- B. S., 38 years old, resident in Miras village, Devoll.

- B. K., 26 years old, resident in Miras village, Devoll.

- I. C., 30 years old, resident of Çetë village, Devoll.

The police services, based on the information gathered that the above citizens in cooperation with each other, would transport a quantity of drugs, organized the work and located the vehicle type "Mercedes-Benz", near the entrance of Miras village, Devoll, driven by the citizen K. S. During the control exercised on the vehicle, 65 packages were found and seized as material evidence, with a total weight of 69 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis", said the law enforcement.
