Four Russian Citizens Detained in Kosovo

Four Russian citizens were detained by the Kosovo Police after entering the country illegally. This was confirmed in an official police statement. 

Kosovo Border Police stopped on Monday in the village Jelakce of Leposavic a suspected car type "Opel Astra", with foreign license plates B.G in which were 4 people, foreign nationals (Russian), who had entered Kosovo illegally through alternative routes. 

"The four detained persons, two men and two women, all Russian citizens, have been escorted to the Police and a case is being initiated against them for 'unauthorized crossing of the border or border line'," the police statement reads. 

It is learned that the competent authorities have been notified about the case and with the decision of the prosecutor the suspects are sent to the cell for 48 hours until the further procedure is specified.
