Further Increase of Fuel Prices, Berisha Reacts
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has reacted after the price of oil suffered another increase. Through a Facebook post, Berisha accuses Prime Minister Edi Rama of abusing prices by stealing Albanians.
According to Berisha, even before the creation of the oil transparency boards, there was an extreme abuse, emphasizing that the situation is extremely alarming.
"The price of oil sets another record today. 265 ALL per liter will be paid by Albanians starting from today. Madness! Abuse! Theft!
The chief thief has decided to extort every penny from Albanian families, bringing the price of oil to the stratosphere, through communist-minded boards. Oil was being extremely abused in the country. Even without the creation of the boards the situation was alarming, but it sank even deeper from the moment of the creation of the theft boards.
The price of oil in the region has a big difference with Albania, and the blame here is on the government and Edi Rama. Immediate measures must be taken or the madness of this man will damage the economy of every Albanian citizen," Berisha wrote.
