During this meeting, we had the opportunity to discuss issues of various interests that are of common interest and related to the fight against narcotics cultivation, the fight against terrorism, criminal organizations, as well as the fight against the phenomena of radicalization. However, we have also managed to outline concrete strategies that are very fruitful for both countries. On this occasion, I would like to thank here the General Director of the Albanian State Police, Mr. Gledis Nano and also the ambassador of Italy, who is always present in all activities and in all activities that take place in this direction."

Gledis Nano: “We have just finished the Technical Roundtable, which is already instrumentalized as a meeting that takes place between the leaders of the Albanian and Italian Police. With the General Director of the Italian Police, Mr. Lamberto Giannini, we discussed some issues of common interest, related to organized crime, serious crime, illegal trafficking and smuggling of migrants, as well as some issues related to terrorism and radicalism. I mean that such meetings are necessary and very useful, not only at the management level of both police, but also at the technical level, thus avoiding bureaucracies and allowing an interaction and coordination of actions and exchange of information and our joint investigations against illegal activities. I want to thank the General Director, for his presence, today, here and all the other leaders of the Italian police, and I want to assure him of the determination that the Albanian Police has to continue the cooperation with all international partners, in the fight against organized crime and terrorism."
