German Ambassador to Kosovo Joern Rohde is optimistic that Kosovars will have their visas revoked this year. 

For visa liberalization to happen, France must change its position, something that the German ambassador does not comment on, saying only that Germany thinks that the lifting of the visa regime for Kosovo has been delayed. 

"You have to ask them about that. We have made our position clear during the last visit of the Minister. For us, this issue has been delayed and this is the opinion of most other countries. I think he is more likely to come early than late. I hope that liberalization will come this year," Rohde told Klan Kosova. 

The German ambassador also spoke about the economic relations between Kosovo and Germany, which he says are developing, while adding that his country is the largest investor in Kosovo.
