Police in Gjirokastra has hit another case of the traffic of emigrants from Greece through Albania with destination EU countries. A 36-year-old who was transporting 9 immigrants did not obey the order of police officers to stop. After police pursuit, he abandoned the car and escaped.

The police signed the 36-year-old with initials R.B to stop, who was running the "Mercedez Benz" vehicle, on the Gjirokastra-Tepelena road axis, in the place called "River Bridge", but he has not obeyed the employee's order Road police to stop the vehicle, which has abandoned in the place called "Virua". 

From investigative actions, it turned out that R. B. was transporting 9 illegal immigrants. Materials in charge of the above citizen were passed to the Prosecution to the First Instance Court Gjirokastra, for the criminal offenses "Disobedience to the Police Employee's Order" and "Giving assistance to the illegal crossing of the border".
