Government allocated a fund of 10 million USD to the Health Ministry in order to pay for the Chinese vaccines for Covid-19 'Sinovac'. The fund was given by the State Reserve Fund. 

According to the Government decision, the payment will be realized based on the agreement reached with the Turkish distributor, while Albania agreed to buy 1 million vaccine doses. 

First doses of 'Sinovac' arrived on Friday evening in Albania and Health Ministry authorized family doctors to inform all citizens 70-years-old and more to start vaccination this Sunday.
