Italy, Albanian Arrested Selling Cocaine

A 38-year-old Albanian has been arrested in flagrante delicto by Italian police while selling cocaine to a 50-year-old woman.

The young Albanian was arrested in Piazza Tacito in the center of the city of Terni. According to Italian media, the carabinieri were keeping the Albanian under surveillance for days, who often came to the city from the neighbouring provinces on weekends to sell drugs at home to a dense network of clients.

In addition to the amount of cocaine, the police seized the 38-year-old and a sum of 2500 euros, which is suspected to have come as a result of the sale of narcotics, as the young Albanian never turns out to have ever worked in Italy.

The incumbent magistrate in the Italian Local Prosecutor's Office, warned by investigators of what happened, ordered the 38-year-old to be detained in a prison in Terni.
