Chairwoman of Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) Monika Kryemadhi has revealed Monday details from her meeting with the US Ambassador to Tirana, Yuri Kim.

SMI’s head informed publicly that she has talked to the US Ambassador about the political situation in the country and reiterated her position that was said some time ago on ‘More Americans in Albania’.

“I continue and believe that the ambassadors do not solve our problems, but we solve them ourselves.

And what is very important to us is that, if we do not create an independence of thinking and functioning as a political party, we will continue to be in the difficulties we are. I think the American ambassador did very well to come to Elbasan.

But, it is very important to understand that we need to talk about people’s problems more than our political problems. I think it would be great to have American investment in Elbasan, given the entire industrial area of the city”, communicated Kryemadhi among other things.
