Albania has been engulfed Sunday by bad weather as air temperatures dropped in the morning and at noon, fluctuating daily values from -3 °C to 12 °C.

According to the authorities, this has led to a deteriorating situation in the district of Kukes where in some areas the snow height has gone to 30 centimetres.

Situation in Kukës Region until 08:30 on 06.03.2022 is as follows:

Height of the new snow in Shishtavec is 30 cm, in Valbona 30 cm and in Qafë Prushi Has 25 cm.

From the information received from the field it results that:

National roads are passable normally.

Rural roads under the administration of the municipalities are passable, except for the road that connects Nj.Ad Arrën with the national road.

Drinking water supply is normal at the County level.

Electricity supply is normal in the whole Region, except Ad Malzi, Kukës municipality, Geghysen village, Ad Fierz and Ad Margegaj, Tropoja municipality.
