Kurbin, Wanted Citizen Detained for Drug Trafficking, Carrying Weapons
Kurbin police have been able to arrest a 27-year-old man previously declared wanted. Armando Subashi, was driving a "Range Rover" full of drugs and weapons.
During the search, the police found 27-year-old Kalashnikovs, quantities of drugs and stolen gloves and license plates.
“Kurbin Police Services, in implementation of the plan of measures for keeping under control people with criminal tendencies, apprehending wanted persons and those circulating with firearms without permission, have organized the work by finalizing the police operation codenamed "Intervention in Time".
As part of the operation, Armando Marashi, 27 years old, resident in Fushë Kuqe, Kurbin, with previous criminal precedents, in the field of illegal possession of weapons and theft, was arrested and detained and declared wanted by the Local Police Directorate of Shkodra, suspected of the criminal offense of theft by fraud.
During the control in the vehicle was found an automatic firearm, a comb with 30 bullets, ammunition, a pair of vehicle license plates reported stolen in Tirana, suspected narcotics cannabis sativa, as well as other illegal items, which were seized in the quality of material evidence.
At the end of the first investigative actions, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: Armando Marashi, for the criminal offenses "Illegal possession of weapons and ammunition", "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Theft".
In cooperation with the Prosecution, the investigative structures of Lezha are continuing investigations to fully clarify this case, as from the information received on the operational road, it is suspected that this citizen could have committed a criminal offense in the field of crimes against the person or armed robbery.
The procedural materials will be forwarded to the Prosecution at the Kurbin Court of First Instance, for further actions,†the police inform.
