Long Imprisonment Sought for Ex-Policeman on Sexual Abuse Charges

Lezha Prosecutor's Office has requested Wednesday a sentence of 7 years in prison for the former police officer Kol Kola, who was arrested in May this year for sexual violence against a 13-year-old girl.

The 62-year-old, was arrested by the Internal Affairs and Complaints Service after being accused of attempting to sexually abuse the minor.

The arrest came after the police provided video footage, where it is seen that the 62-year-old has consumed elements of the criminal offense "Sexual Harassment".

Through fraud, Kola lied to the minor that he would accompany her to the Police Station, and took her to an apartment in the city of Lezha, which he used.

Kola is suspected of having committed shameful acts, also attempting to have sexual intercourse, but these actions were opposed by the minor, who left the apartment.
