A 53-year-old man drowned at 08:00 this Thursday morning while swimming at Palase beach. 

Police suggest that the suspicions are that the 53-year-old has suffered cardiac arrest. Investigations have already begun to uncover the event. 

"Today, around 08:00, the citizen F. N., 53 years old, while swimming on the beach of Palasë, is suspected to have faced a heart attack and as a result he drowned in the water. The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the event", informed the Police.
