Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja said that Albania has excellent relations with the Benelux countries. He responded to Berisha, who stated that the extradition of ministers and MPs is being prevented. 

According to Manja, such requests from countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg have not arrived, but if they do, they are ready to sign it. 

"Regarding what Mr. Berisha stated that the Albanian government has blocked extradition agreements with the Benelux countries. I do not know how this request went before in Berisha's office. I want to be clear. Today there are no obstacles in the field of judicial cooperation with Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg. Cooperation is at satisfactory levels. We have a bilateral agreement with Belgium on convicted persons. We have excellent cooperation and there is no demand from these countries, because we are ready to sign agreements if they come", said Ulsi Manja.
