Murder Attempt in Tirana, Perpetrator Arrested

Tirana Police has handcuffed this Tuesday 28-year-old Emra Korteshi who, after a conflict with another citizen, shot at him on Monday. 

The 28-year-old initially left the scene, but after a few hours, he was arrested by police. He shot with a pistol at Enrid Ismailaj, 35 years old, but fortunately, the bullets didn't catch him.

"Services of the Police Commissariat no. 6, after receiving the notification that during a conflict for weak motives, in “Shaban Bardhoshi” street, a citizen shot with a firearm at another citizen, and then left, they organized the work in order to catch the suspected perpetrator and have successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "Speed". 

As a result of work and quick professional actions, by the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Police Commissariat no. 6, within a few hours, the following citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto: E. K., 28 years old, resident in Kombinat, for the criminal offenses 'Attempted Intentional Murder' and 'Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition.'," announced the Police.
