New Albanian Ministers Sworn In at Presidential Ceremony
A swearing-in ceremony for several new members of Albania’s government was held today at the Palace of Brigades in Tirana.
Ferit Hoxha took the oath as Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ermal Nasufi as Minister of Defense, Toni Gogu as Minister of Justice, Enea Karakaçi as Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Besfort Lamallari as Minister of Interior, and Erjona Ismaili as Minister for Relations with Parliament. Albana Koçiu was also sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister.
The ceremony follows a cabinet reshuffle that introduced several changes within the government.
Under the new structure, Albana Koçiu replaces Belinda Balluku as Deputy Prime Minister, while Besfort Lamallari takes over the Interior Ministry from Koçiu. Toni Gogu replaces Lamallari as Justice Minister, and Erjona Ismaili succeeds Gogu as Minister for Relations with Parliament.
Enea Karakaçi becomes Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, replacing Belinda Balluku, while Ermal Nasufi takes over the Defense Ministry from Pirro Vengu. Ferit Hoxha replaces Elisa Spiropali as Foreign Minister.
