Since some weeks ago, Albanian State Police has introduced a new intelligent vehicle that identifies drivers who violate traffic rules. During the last 24 hours, this device has found hundreds of violators, who have been fined. 

The Operational Unit of the Traffic Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Tirana Traffic Police, continues to monitor vehicle traffic, using intelligent vehicles, with short time intervals on all roads of the capital, in Kamza and on the interurban road Tirana-Durrës- Tirana. 

During the morning hours, in Kamza and other city streets, as well as during the evening hours on the interurban road Tirana-Durres-Tirana, the intelligent car ascertained 287 violations for speed, of which 43 cases were identified with speed from 80 km / h up to 98 km / h in Kamza, while on the Tirana-Durrës road, speed up to 169 km / h. 

Also, during the verification it turned out that in addition to speed, a large number of drivers had committed a second violation, both during the day and in the evening, namely 108 were for mobile phone use while driving, while 61 also for not wearing a seat belt. 

Meanwhile, as a result of intensive controls on all roads of the country, using radars, drones, unloaded vehicles, cameras, and alcohol tests, during the last 24 hours throughout the country have been placed 1059 administrative measures for violations that pose a risk potential for involvement in road events. 

From the monitoring with radar and alcohol testers, 31 driving licenses have been suspended, for speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. The State Police appeals to all road users to strictly respect the rules of the road and invites citizens to report to the number 112 and the Digital Commissariat, any violation of the Road Code, guaranteeing full anonymity and prompt response. professional.
