While all the attention and political debate is focused on the fact who will be the new president of the Republic of Albania, this Sunday is the last call to submit proposals for candidates. As defined, the deadline is until 16:00. 

While the first round of voting will be on Monday, at 17:00. Despite the curves from politics for a consensual president, so far the majority and the opposition have not yet found a common consensus on the candidate's name. 

We recall that on Friday, after meeting with the chairman of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, the head of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, said that it would be difficult to have a name to vote on Monday. The same was stated by the chairman of the Democratic Party parliamentary group, Enkelejd Alibeaj.
