North Macedonian Ambassador Presents Credentials to President Meta

The President of the Republic,  Ilir Meta received the Ambassador of North Macedonia, Dancho Markovski, on the occasion of presenting his Letters of Credence. 

President Meta congratulated Ambassador Markovski on the success of his diplomatic mission in Albania, for the benefit of further strengthening the very good relations between the two countries and both peoples, and stressed the importance of closer economic and trade cooperation through bilateral projects. 

President Meta assured Ambassador Markovski that Albania remains interested in the progress, prosperity and sustainable advancement of North Macedonia in the European integration processes and expressed the conviction that our two neighboring countries, allies in NATO, and with common Euro-Atlantic visions, will  to further strengthen relations for the benefit of peace, stability and development of the region. 

President Meta considered the well-deserved unconditional decision of the EU in March to start the talks, as an important milestone for the journey of North Macedonia towards the European family and a guarantee to overcome any obstacle in this important process for it and  for the whole region. 

The Head of State praised the participation of the Albanian factor in the institutions of North Macedonia, as a confirmation of the contribution and continuous support of Albanians to important reforms, the Euro-Atlantic path, democratic stability of the country, and the construction of a multiethnic state.
