Officer’s Murder Shows Police’s Degradation due to Renaissance; SMI

State Police is least motivated and supported by the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama than ever, declared Tuesday the General Secretary of Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Endrit Braimllari as he accused the Socialist Party (SP) of deteriorating the police.

These accusations by SMI’s official were thrown after the murder of the Serious Crimes officer, 44-year-old Saimir Hoxha by Aldi Rama, a 21-year-old, during the action for the discovery of cannabis plantations in Lezha.

Nevertheless, Braimllari added that honest officers who want to maintain public order and security, to fight criminal activities are sabotaged because of the connection of Rama government with organized crime.

“The serious event that happened today in Lezha where the Deputy Commissioner Sajmir Hoxha lost his life shows how the Renaissance has degraded the State Police.

Today, the State Police is more unmotivated and unsupported than ever by the government.

After 100 days set as an ultimatum by Prime Minister Rama for the State Police, where the police must crack down on crime, crime today has dared to hit the police again and add another hero to its ranks.

I express my condolences to the family of Sajmir Hoxha, relatives and all his colleagues”, underlined SMI’s Secretary General on the social networks.
