Parliamentary Elections, PM Calls Meeting of New Steering Body

The new steering body elected through a voting process last Sunday of 350 members of the highest political forum, will held the first meeting this Monday.

Prime Minister, Edi Rama, called the meeting at 18:30 pm to discuss the electoral process. 

Following the vote on Sunday, the SP’s Secretary General Blendi Klosi announced the members of the new leadership of the ruling party, consisting of five women and five men: Albana Kociu, Anila Denaj, Etilda Gjonaj, Klodiana Spahiu, Lindita Nikolla, Arben Pëllumbi, Erion Brace, Eduart Shalsi, Igli Hasani, and Toni Gogu.

The Assembly also voted on the SP’s Secretariat: Blendi Klosi - Secretary General; Damian Gjiknuri, Secretary for Election Organization; Evis Kushi - Women’s Secretary; Milva Ekonomi, Programme Secretary; Zerina Bruci - Diaspora Secretary; Romina Kuko - Secretary for Foreign Relations; Roi Bashaj, Youth Secretary.
